CONFERENCE - The fate of women in Iran
In a democracy like ours, it's our duty to support with all our strength and heart the Iranian women who risk their lives to defend the dignity of women.
It's about defending the universal rights enshrined in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Associating in the defense of Iranian women, the men who support them and some of whom have been ignominiously executed for it, is the same categorical imperative. Let's hope that this symposium will encourage the French press to take up this existential cause for human rights, because in the 21st century it is unacceptable for a political regime that claims to be divinely inspired to kill its own people, and in particular the jewel in the crown of its youth.
